This rye whiskey was born more than 18 Years ago at the old Lawrenceburg Indiana Distillery, the same place where every drop of Redemption whiskey has ever been produced. After distillation, this rye aged in new charred American oak barrels, and most were bottled and sold many years ago A few Barrels of this special rye were lost and forgotten continuing to gracefully age or many years until the distillery was sold and the new owners discovered these precious barrels. The founders of Redemption were fortunate enough to buy the barrels, and continued to age it to perfection. After 18 years, the angels took their share and much of the rye had evaporated leaving only enough to create 1800 bottles. Enjoy this extraordinarily rare and refined rye.
