Series 16: What Sets Each Expression Apart

  •  Octomore 16.1 The Reference
  • The “.1” foundation of the series: Distilled from Scottish mainland Concerto barley, matured in first-fill American bourbon barrels, and bottled to showcase peat’s purity and directness. 101.4 ppm of phenol and balanced structure define its role as the backbone of Series 16.
  • Octomore 16.2 The Cask Divergence
Uses the same malt as 16.1 but diverges in maturation. European wine casks—such as Oloroso, Bordeaux, Madeira, and Moscatel add layers of fruit, spice, and luxurious depth.
  • Octomore 16.3 The Farm Expression
Made from barley grown on Octomore Farm’s Church Field, heavily peated to extreme levels, and matured in a blend of bourbon, Sauternes, and Pedro Ximénez casks. 61.6% ABV for raw power and terroir-driven depth.
