Wild Turkey Master’s Keep Beacon

Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

A note from Liquor Lineup’s very own Salomon Vergara

This bottle earned its place in my personal top three whiskeys of 2025 without any debate. Master’s Keep Beacon is one of the most balanced bourbons I’ve tasted in years. The oak and sweetness don’t compete. They collaborate. Nothing sharp, nothing heavy handed, just a confident rhythm that keeps you coming back for another sip. This is bourbon that knows exactly what it is.

The Whiskey

Part of the revered Master’s Keep series from Wild Turkey Beacon is a thoughtful blend of mature bourbons aged in both French and American oak. The goal here is balance, not bravado. It’s layered, refined, and quietly powerful, the kind of whiskey that doesn’t need to raise its voice to be heard.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Vanilla bean, toasted oak, soft baking spice, and a touch of citrus oil

Palate: Caramel, honeyed corn, gentle rye spice, and beautifully integrated oak

Finish: Long, smooth, and warming with lingering vanilla and seasoned wood

How to Enjoy

This one shines neat. A few drops of water will open it up, but resist the urge to overthink it. If you take it into cocktail territory, keep it classic and restrained. A minimalist Old Fashioned, light sugar, aromatic bitters, nothing else.

• Dry-aged ribeye

• Smoked pork belly

• Dark chocolate with sea salt

• Late nights, good conversation, no agenda

Specs
